How to Transition Your Online Presence During the Mass Move to Mobile

All signs are pointing to increased mobile use. According to eMarketer, mobile media consumption surpassed TV media consumption in 2019 and will continue to do so until about 2021. The move to mobile gains momentum and urgency as Google’s indexing, as of July 1,2019, will prioritize mobile results. Tapping into the mobile world can increase marketing ROI and generic visibility. Here’s how to kick start your brand’s transition to mobile-friendly messaging.

Grow Your Social Presence

The average person spends just shy of 3 hours a day using mobile apps. Of all the apps, social media usage is greatest. Growing your brand’s social presence and keeping up with social media trends can improve your brand’s visibility online. Create mobile-friendly emails

Make sure your brand’s newsletters are mobile-friendly. Typically, mobile devices prefer 600 pixel-width email content. Users are less likely to view emails that require adjustments to read. Test your emails via mobile previews and smartphones to make sure the email looks equally readable across platforms.

Create mobile-friendly webpages

Many website hosts can create mobile-friendly versions websites. Utilize these host sites and the templates available to make your website responsive. Keep your most important and sought after content easy to find, and clickable buttons large so mobile users can maneuver your site easily.

Despite increasing self-awareness about mobile usage, consumers will continue using smartphones for media consumption. Lean in to the trend and watch engagement and interaction increase.
